6th Sipdan Round 3

Yi Sedol won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They played the same Fuseki and this time Yi proved that he had learned from the last game.
Funny fact: r12 is wrong, according to 21st Century New Openings 3, as it makes things to easy for white, seeing the giant territory on the right side I think I can understand why.

There also where some pretty nice exchanges in this game and thus it made me realise that i realy have to do something about my judgement.

6th Sipdan Round 2

Yi Sedol lost the second round of the 6th Wonik Sipdan, now the score is 1:1 and the third game will decide the winner.

Yi lost by 0,5 points because he couldn't win the Ko. At first I thought: hey Yi could take the Ko instead of playing q7 and then Black is short one threat, but then I saw t10 and realised that black had 3 threats and not 2 like I thought for a moment.

6th Sipdan Round 1(Finals)

Yi Sedol won the first game of the Sipdan finals, so if he wins the next game he'll win the finals.

The games seems to fit in nicely with Adoreme's last posts and is a nice example of how to attack groups.
I think one can realy learn alot about how shape works from this game, and it's also a nice game to watch if you are studying Fuseki.

Yi Sedol entered the Sipdan Final

YI Sedol bested Yi Younggoo in the semi-final of the sipdan. Now he will face Kang Yootack in the final match starting on March 30th.

Some words about the game: rather modern opening and some nice fighting, but black was hopeless against Yi Sedol.
